Help 4G LTE icon question........about color??

Hey Friends!

I've got a question about the color of the 4G LTE icon on my Bionic........When at home and connected to Wifi......my 4G LTE icon is sometimes blue and other times it's white......

I thought it was only supposed to be blue when the phone is using that for connectivity?

Can someone explain to me what the colors of the 4G LTE icon and the wifi icon mean?(Blue and white)

Blue means that the particular network is currently authenticated to google services for market, sync, etc. It can still use a connected network for connectivity if the icon is white, but the connection to google services may be down for a particular reason (it is down on Google's end, the network connection is just coming up, etc.)
