Help 4G LTE network problem

I've got the exact same problem. MetroPCS. I noticed recently that the 4G would never show up anywhere. The phone help was worthless so I finally took it to the MetroPCS store to force them to see what I was talking about. They finally will do an in warranty exchange (for $10.00) and it will take 5 days to get the new phone at their store and I have to go pick it up there so they can reprogram it.

There have been many times when this phone gets hot. Don't know why. But in Broadband the information for LTE: Unknown is what is displayed.

This sounds like a serious fault in this product. My phone is only a few months old.

YEA i replaced my phone many time you cant use your 4g to long or use 4g and watch video or charge the phone and use 4g your phone will over heat and nothing will work its happen 4 times already they will replace it if you pay you $5 mth fee and i must add i live in the hottest state in the US

no 4g and im on the EE update. its a rom issue that im trying to find a fix for
