Help 4g LTE signal issue

hello fellas,

i had check my coverage for LTE here in my area and it shows that im surrounded by FAIR LTE , and lil bit closer to BEST.

but for some reason my signal goes to 3g, when i update my PRL and PROFILE it shows 4g for like 30 second. and than go back to 3g.

have any idea what can be wrong?

i am not rooted, just running stock!
and had this phone since yesterday.

LTE is kinda weird on this thing. When I first got this phone I had 4G in my neighborhood, now its been months since I seen that 4g icon around here even if I update the PRL.

is there a way we can access those hidden menus? I had an OG EVO when sprint launched their WIMAX network and I remember you could use your MSL code to edit the connection settings for WIMAX... I know this phone is LTE but was wondering if there might be similar type settings that we can access.

the code is the same. ##DATA# but you'll need the MSL from Sprint or VM. Get MSL from the Play Store along with alogcat don't work on 4.1.2 and above.
