Help 4G LTE switching to 3G often, anyone experience this?

I notice for the past 2-3 weeks or so, my Rezound's 4G has been switching to 3G automatically and staying for periods of time. This wasn't an issue a while back and I've had this phone since late December of 2011. I know I got the update for the Rezound not too long ago and I wonder if that's been causing problems.

Does anyone know why my phone keeps going from 4G to 3G? I'd like to stay in 4G.

I live in San Diego, I wonder if there are 4G problems going on here.

I had it happen once this week. It's typically solid 4g. Then I rebooted and it stayed on 4g. I think the 4g is essentially still a beta test phase product.

My phone never did it before the ota update, it does it now once a day...

I think I have found a solution. I simply removed the battery and put it back in and now it works fine.
