Help 4g not working

For whatever reason, my 4g isn't working. When I turn it on, I get a notification saying "4G antenna is on. Tap to scan for 4G service." And that's it. When I usually turn it on, it replaces the 3G icon to 4G obviously, but today it just doesn't want to do that. I tried rebooting and it's still the same. Does anybody know what's going on? Also, my 3G is being really really slow right now. It works, but it's very sluggish and takes a while for things to load. Pictures won't load (on facebook).

It doesn't replace the 3G icon if it hasn't found a 4G connection. The antenna is on, but hasn't connected to the network. Could be that for whatever reason your 4G signal is just not that strong right now, or perhaps there is an outage in your area atm?
