4g notification light?

So awhile back I heard about a blue notification light on the left side of the ear piece that would light up when ur on 4g. Can anyone confirm or discredit this?

I've never heard or read of anything like that and I've done a lot of research on the phone. It really doesn't make sense monetarily because if that was used on the phone it would make much more sense to incorporate it into the existing led on the right side. The only thing on the left side that I'm aware of is the proximity sensor.

I've never heard that either. I'm connected to 4G daily and have never seen a blue LED.

I swear I read it somewhere on these forums but when I saw it I was like "no that's dumb, that can't be right." Another thing I remember is that the person wanted to figure out how to flash a mod to be able to use that light as a notification light for other services besides 4g.

You're probably thinking of Virgin Mobile USA's 3G/4G dongle for PC's. It has a blue 4G light, but only because it has no screen and this is the only way to indicate 4G connectivity. I believe it also has a green 3G light.
