4g out AGAIN!!!

Lost 4G earlier tonight and can only get 3G now. I've tried switching back and forth many times. What the hell is up with their network?!?!? Anyone else have this issue? I'm in Nashville.

Ughhhhh....I'm still holding 4G out here in NYC. But why is it that 4G problems really start to arise when this garbage Droid Charge is set to be released. Getting very annoying VZW.

Just checked with my wife and she can't get 4G either. I've already complained to Verizon about the last outage and got a $30 credit on our bill. I'm about to get a free month of service if they don't fix this crap! :D

I noticed while I was driving to Jersey City, NJ by the Holland Tunnel that 4G went to 3G. I have the 4G toggle app so I toggle to LTE only and then back to 4G auto and 4G stuck.

I called verizon and they just had me do a soft reset and I got 4G back. Dont get it though cuz my wifes phone had the same problem. They said it might be because of the LTE on/off app Im using. Thoughts?
They also blamed the recent national outage.

If verizon techs or reps can blame something on app they will do so. Why would you tell them you are using an app to switch between 4g and 3g, they ofcourse will blame that app, LMAO. Trust me if you give them a reason to dump the problem on you and make it your fault they absolutely will.

I'm in Nashville and I'm stuck at 3G, too--all day. Which I've just about decided is okay by me since the battery's still showing a full charge after an entire day's use. I do miss the voice recognition feature, though. Seems that works only on 4G.

Sometimes I really have a hard time believing bold statements. Are you really telling me you didn't loose any battery because you were on 3g all day.

I live in Murfreesboro (and have good 4G coverage is most of the city). I'm just outside of Nashville and I am also experiencing this. I don't know when I lost 4G, exactly, but I know that I had it at 7 AM, but I didn't at 3 PM. It's now nearly midnight here and I am still without 4G. Thankfully my 3G is working (last time I was stuck at 1X).

When I called Verizon this morning the only thing they had me do was turn on "data roaming" and restart the phone. Has worked fine since. You can find the setting in the menu under "wireless & networks," then "Mobile networks."

Does having this setting turned on gonna really screw me if I go into a roaming area?

Resurrecting this thread and all but it looks like we are dead in Columbia, SC again.

Rebooted several times and all, it's doing the full bars, no indicator to no bars to full bars and 3G dance.

Anyone experiencing a problem?

What's making me angry is that the Thunderbolt is a good phone. Actually it's a great phone. IMO the best available in America. But Verizons problems are hampering the experience and therefore making me dislike the phone

It's localized... depends on where I am.
It's also new in town so chances are they are having issues with it still.

As a sidenote my phone has shut itself off twice today without me knowing it.
