So i've read about 4G and what's supposed to be amazing with it, but alas...i live in a place where 4G does not exist so I was wondering, for those of you who DO live in a 4G city....what's your favorite part? / most noticeable difference from 3G?

Thanks!

4g makes some features better.

1. hotspot and tethering faster speeds.

2. Video Chat call quality improved

3. Downloading and uploading large data files

4 Running web based software.

5. Streaming Video content.

Yesterday I made more video calls than voice phone calls using Tango..

wow, i am very jealous! thanks for the info :) makes me want it more :(

I am in a spotty 4G market so i dont use mine all that much, but when i do use it i like the faster web browsing and faster app experinece with programs that access the net. Also if your away from a charger using 4G will significantly drain the battery. But its still nice to have..

Oh yea! It's not something you should leave on all day. For the most part you want to turn it on while you're surfing a few minutes, but there's really no need to leave it on all day anyway. 3G gives you what you need.

Does 4G kill the battery any more than 3G?

That is a tricky question..

If your in a solid 4g area and 3g is off, The battery life is the same or some times better than 3g only.

If both radios are on and your in solid coverage I can get 6-8 hours..

If the coverage is spotty and both radios are on I can get 4-6 hours.

So for the most part yes 4g will drain your battery faster..

I have spotty 4G coverage, but when I have it, its pure awesomeness!!!!!!! Sucks a ton of battery but who cares I keep it plugged in, I dumped internet at home and I tether, and 4G on pc is pretty cool

For about 99% of the time, I leave my 4G off. The only time I actually used it was when I wanted to view HQ YouTube Videos. For most of my needs, 3G would suffice.
