Help 4g problem

so my phone for the first time shows only 3g, i have plenty of 4g in my area so that cant be the problem. I'm not sure whats happening.
Whats the difference between CDMA and CDMA/LTE ? what do I loose if I only select CDMA ?
Plus, for the past 2-3 days battery life sucks.

That is how you turn the 4g off.. LTE is 4g. Turn it back to CDMA/LTE and you will good to go.

The problem is that I am set to CDMA/LTE and I'm seeing 3g.
I'm in zipcode 08054 and we have 4g all over the place. What else can be holding it back at the moment?

It's possible there could be a 4G outage in your area? Don't know.

i work in 08054, sometimes my phone stays in 4g, other times it switches back to 3g. data speeds in 4g aren't all that great, maybe 2500 kbs.

i live a little bit south of there, my max 4g speed at my house is 900 kbs, but 1 mile north of my house, the speed is > 20,000kbs. apparently i live in a hole.
