Help 4g question

I have a question, last night I was messing around with my evo I accident turned my 4g on I was just wondering what does 4g antenna on mean? Reason why I'm asking is cuz I live in pueblo,co and last time I checked that we dont have 4g where I live just in denver we do so does this mean im running 4g?

I am sure someone on here can give you a better answer than I can...
Just because it says 4G antenna on does not mean you are using 4G data service. It means that the antenna is on, but in standby mode. In otherwords it is ready, should a 4G signal become available. If you pull down the notification bar, you will have the option to scan for 4G signal and it will connect instantly should one be available.
