Root 4g question....

Hey all! Just got this phone a couple days ago..Rooted and on Bliss-pop already..But I was wondering,evr since leaving stock I dont see a 4g emblem on my status bar..I see 3g,and sometimes an LTE symbol...Im guessing the LTE symbol means 4g? But if so why only at certain times? Thanks for any and all info on this one

Go into settings and mobile network referred network type select lte
 
@roadkill42, heck yea, you @devilschild26, and I go back from being on the ZTE Awe forum on here.. I was playing guitar and accidentally moved my chair on top of my Awe and the rest is history like my phone was, and got word phenomx4, among others were dev on this phone so i jumped on board.. Sometimes in life it's good to be a follower lol, especially being surrounded by people who are such masters at their craft and am thankful for this site, and these forums, and all of you crazy android people!!! Woot woot! :)
