4G Speeds

So what is the word from the early adopters? Is 4G from VM as bad as 3G from VM. Please post some speed tests.

You can't really call VM 4g early adoption. They're using Sprints old Wimax network. Its been around a bit, insn't very widespread, and won't be expanded, imo, ever. But for $35 a month, I ain't complainin'.

As far as speed, I get 7.3mb down and about 1.2 mb up on average during the day.

it depends on location. At home, I can barely get 4G and I get about .3M down and .06 up. While driving around, I get a strong 4G signal, I get between 6 and 10M down and .5 to 1M up.

Speeds are fine when you can find coverage. Here in NYC, inside the buildings its pretty weak. At home I have no 4G coverage, but I of course have wifi.
