4gb tether plan for $33.75

I recently bought the inspire but had a iPhone 3G with the unlimited data plan. I also have the iPad with the unlimited data plan. I figured if I could I might as well go with the tethering plan and save some money since I'm not a heavy user. So I called to switch my phone plan and the first thing they tell me is you can't go back to the unlimited plan. After we go through the whole process the customer service rep then tells me the tethering plan also qualifies for my postal fan discount. So instead of $30.00 for the unlimited plan I have the tethering plan for $4.00 more. Got it hooked up and everything works like a charm. My iPad located my hot spot from my inspire with no problems. Im now going to cancel my iPad plan. The only problem for those switching now is you have to reset your phone when you switch over which means you will lose all of your contacts. Just wanted to let everyone know the fan discount applies toward the tethering plan.

You lose unlimited data when you switch to a tethering plan, that is one of the main reason why I won't get one. I use far too much data on my phone to lose the unlimited plan.
