Once you flash this your phone will be OEM locked and you can not downgrade!!!!!! Not Even with a twrp backup.

The other way to upgrade is to use the lg software, which is weird that it's not ota yet but its on the software.

That is for T-Mobile version of the Leon. And like your PM said, he did post that you will be OEM locked (bootloader locked). I'm sure they could achieve unlocked bootloader status very easily though

I got metro anyways so it wouldn't help me haha

Saw u on the cm12 thread & just wanted to let u know do not flash the 5.1.1 kdz if u want to flash cm12. It locks ur bootloader, so you'll be stuck on stock. Some are saying they can still downgrade & root but I wouldn't take the chance.

The 12d version is still rootable and the phone has an option in developer options to unlock oem. I flashed the 12d kdz yesterday rooted the phone with King root ran the exploit to replace Kinguser with SuperSu and got TWRP on the phone. This is on the Metro PCS version.

The oem unlock is for the bootloader not a sim unlock.
