Root 5.5.892 update help

I have the Razr but want to get my girlfriends Bionic updated so I can flash ICS. She is on 5.5.892 and rooted, I want to get to the newest OTA and keep root. Can anyone help, Ive tried serching but many links are down and starting to get a little confused. Can I just RSD to the newest OTA

Use the forever root method to keep root and then flash the OTA after you unfreeze any apps. There is a thread in the root section of this forum to do the forever root. If you need the OTA file pm me. I can't post the links from my phone.

If you deleted any stock apps you will need to flash 5.9.902 with rsdlite and then use motofail root method. There is a thread with all the file's and instructions in the root section.
 
Ive tried flashing and it fails and aborts everytime....what am i doing wrong. Is there a rsd file i can use
