not the 5.8.894.

That MIGHT be what it is. It MIGHT be something else entirely.

It has an odd name for what it purports to be.

Previous leaks had the same naming scheme. 5.5.886 > 5.7.893 was also named 5.5.886. But Thom is right as an official supposed OTA why isnt the naming scheme different.

no, it is not about to drop - yet.

I d/led that leaked OTA from the mediafire link a week ago. It Is the 5.8.894 OTA. Flashed it and no issues so far. Moto has a very screwed up naming convention for OTA. They always seem to reference the older SW version the OTA upgrades FROM.

Also, this 5.8.894 is yet another leak. The Soak test that started today IS NOT THIS FILE.

edit: so do I need to be on stock .886 for this to work? I was on 5.7.893

yes, You need to be fully stock - as in never having installed any of the previously leaked updates.
