I'd watch fleeBay. No doubt someone has bricked their TP and will be parting it out.

Also contact HP and get a quote from them so you know what you can compare to.

There should be a teardown guide online (I might have a link with the stickies) to help with that, if you're inclined.

I am definitely interested! Hah, this damn gadget was relatively cheap, but I do not have the funds or capacity to replace it from new.

I was just getting so stoked for the new CM9 too!

I would suggest seeing if you can still return the 5 year old under warranty. If not, CL is a great place to sell children you're frustrated with. Ebay is not the best option as shipping is just too expensive IME. Your mileage may vary.
