Weather it's ridiculous or not is purely a matter of opinion. Some like their privacy, which does not make their feelings about sharing their phone number any less valid than those who don't mind sharing their number.

Calling it ridiculous simply because you do not agree, well, that's just not right.

I've only been counting half the time but have only used 4% but in WiFi I've used gigs
