you had to tell her that you were rooted You were LUCKY she actually reprogrammed it for you Must've been a slow day, i guess. Anyways, try to download the metro apns and restore them with apn backup and restore. Tell me if it works

I backed up the apns from another samsung admire and restored it on my "no data" admire using apn backup and restore. It says it successfully restored 2 apns. My data still doesnt work. ,I used apn shortcut to view/edit the apns, but whenever i try to view my apns on the fone, it doesnt show any apns. On the working admire with data, the apn shortcut app also shows nothing. Is there a way to flash a package over with recovery to set the data back?

you need qpst...hook it up and start with the cdma tab. your mdn should be in the second slot and your min below that.
next go to the amps section and make sure your min is put in.
go to the 1x data tab and check the 07 box

then the famous tab for data service...sorry can't remember what it called....where you find the um tab and what not......check simple IP down below and edit profile 1 and 0 with your mdn@aaak.mymetropcs.com
on the um tab to the right of your profile box make sure that the mdn@aaak.mymetropcs.com is there and your password is in the password field.....your password is your msl.... find that at white rabbit.org.

write to phone and its all done
your phones esn will say its been changed in a box that pops up in qpst..... that's good.

after it reboots you should be back to par.

I got it fixed earlier but i went ahead and "thanked" your post because it was basicly what i did and it would of helped if I didnt fix it lol

That got my data working thanks for the help btw

no problem..... sorry I didn't see it prior...I was a helper on the optimus thread and qpst is where I started learning....you should hook it back up and click the download tab and do a backup...its an easy return to your current config...
