5Ghz wi-fi frequency?

Mine does not recognize the 5GHz signal from my router.

Mine either. I am looking for an app that lists the hardware and make/model so I can see if the HW supports it

Has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Does not include 802.11 a, which is only in the 5 GHz band but includes 802.11 n which uses the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

It should connect to a Router in the 802.11 n mode but I don't have a Router with the n mode so I can't test my Tab. Should and does, I don't know.

The free Wifi Analyzer app from Playstore will tell almost everything you need.

Out of interest I have just checked my Samsung S3mini and that does operate in the 5Ghz range as well as 2.4Ghz.
