5th Replacement phone 6 on its way

with enough research its painless.
and i wasnt implying that it would fix a blown speaker, but all those other software related issues should be resolved by rooting...

what about the poster who had his phone bricked trying to root/flash his phone? Can that be fixed through rooting?

Wow I'm stoked at this... I'm not sure about Droid_Inc, maybe too high expectations? But ACD168's problems are definitely user faults.

I've owned phones since the early 90's going back to the first Motorola bag phone, never returned nor exchanged any phones- I did have a battery melt in one of my flip phones about a decade ago but luckily it didn't take the phone with it, it was one of those extended batteries which the dealer thinks was counterfeit.

The only phone I've ever ha to return was a Motorola v710 (so, what, 2002ish) and that was due to my own carelessness (I used an incompatiable charger and it stopped charging the battery). I've sinced owned 7 different smartphones (including two Incredibles - one is used by my wife) and I've never had an issue that couldn't be traced back to user error and resolved...

Makes you wonder...

You do realize the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results? LOL
Agree with some of the others, change phone manufacturer or service provider...way too many good Android options out there to just have to continue with this inconvenience.
