Help 6.0 wifi issue

Since update to 6.0 the WiFi on my Nexus 7 seems to take longer to connect on bootup. Anyone else have this after updating?
 
Sometimes. I've also had problems where internet quits working and I have to reboot my tablet. It's also slower. Speed tests show the correct speed but compared to my ancient Galaxy S3 webpages load much slower. I've googled it plenty and all the above appears to be common problems across multiple Nexus devices so let's hope we get a bug fix soon. I like 6.0 but the wifi bugs are annoying.
 
Mine isn't taking longer to connect, but WiFi IS draining the battery when NOT connected to a network.
