I never meant to start a (*******) match.
Look, I love America for a lot of reasons, one of them is we get our own opinion. The trouble with that is opinions are like toilets, we all got one and sometimes it's full of (****).
I digress.
As more leaks appear about the Nexus X (or Moto S?) it's looking like a 5.9 inch screen, WAY WAY WAY too big for me) so I will be ordering a new Moto X in November for a birthday gift to myself.
It is 100% hands down (get it hands down cause you can use it 100% hands free
) about the experience for me. I really love my current X and honestly if I was not a tech geek that likes to have new and shiny goodies regularly, well I might keep this phone till it simply wouldn't work anymore or I broke it or something like that. I mean seriously, I like tech, but I have never been emotionally connected to a cell phone before and I really
love my X. The form factor is delightful, the functionality is superb, the thoughtfulness with which this phone was conceived and executed is kind of amazing in this day an age where it's easy to believe corporate America is not listening, doesn't care and at times even seems to purposefully try to make consumers uncomfortable. Perhaps it's my emotional connection (and others it seems) that makes me take exception with comments about Motorola not thinking or being foolish or planning poorly, when in reality, they are thinking, planning and making phones for us, and not YOU.
So all that said, nothing personal, I get what you're saying, we've all been there. You want something, wish it was a certain way and it's not and you're disappointed. We apologize for that. But we are going to keep dancing around gleefully with the prospect of a wonderful, thoughtful, well designed device that we all want.
