Help 64GB microsd card and android version on my phone

Salvi

Newbie
Hello, I want to put a 64GB card into my phone to increase my storage. I bought an S2, but I don't like it with the Otterbox so I gave it to my father and I kept my Galaxy S2. It is from Virgin Canada, which I think is identical to the AT&T version, but may not be.

I just want to make sure I get the card that is compatible. I run 4.0.3 Android, and it's not rooted.

GT I9100M

kernel 3.0.15.....CL377577 se.infra@SEP-74, if needed

baseband I9100MUGLD3

I currently have a 32GB class 10 in my phone which I will put into my S3 once I get my 64GB. Are they called HDXC now? Will any work? I'd prefer Samsung or SanDisk, the known companies, but I want the most compatible, so I know I'll be ok.

Thank you.

Also, is it possible to put Android Jelly Bean on my phone? Or on the S3? I thought the S3 will automatically update to 4.1 but it won't, and the S2 stops at 4.0.3 (the S3 is now at 4.0.4).

Thank you
