720p Video Freezing

Hi!!

After use iPhone for three years, and now I got a Nexus! I watch TV Series every day on the subway! lol

But while some episodes run fine, others run with freezing. I tryed switch the players between Mx Player, MoboPlayer and VPLAYER, but only MxPlayer run better.

Have tried to finalize all applications, restart the cell, but nothing! Can anyone give me a help?

What format are the videos in?

I don't think the Galaxy Nexus has dedicated decoding hardware (might be wrong though). All video decoding therefore has to be done on software, and that isn't ideal. MX Player probably runs faster because it has two modes of software decoding, fast and normal. Try using fast mode (top right corner, choose 'S/W (Fast)'.

It does have hardware decoding, and but only on MP4 formatted videos. Everything else is done on software.
