Help 720p video help

hey guys....so i recorded a few videos and played them back via hdmi to a 1080p tv and a 720p.....it was somewhat distorted....is their anything i need to change to get true hd videos?
 
One of the reviews I read stated that video didn't look as good on a TV as the phone itself. It's still a "phone camera" so it even thou it's 720p, it still won't look as good as a more expensive dedicated camera. My sister has a Canon SX20IS and she brought some clips over on a flash drive. Plugged the flash drive into the TV and it looked like broadcast HD quality. I was amazed and envious.

ahh ok....guess i was hoping for more....but its understandable...and you are right...its still a "phone camera" ......either way....this phone still blow my bb storm away!!!
