8 inch screen or the 9.7 inch

I'm curious to see what would everyone prefer, an 8inch LCD screen or 9.7 inch or would it even matter at all since the its only a 1.7 inch difference?

I suspect more to your point, the 1.7 in. is a 20% increase in size... That is typically quite significant...
