Root 8Gb versions and flashing

Something has just occurred to me. I was wondering if the newer roms cater for the 8GB version of the Flytouch3. Most seem to have the 8Gb split 1.9 GB for android OS and apps and 6.1 GB local storage, so does this stay the same.

I'm using the tim3a ROM and the partitioning stays the same.

I am a newbie here. Yesterday I bought my 8gb superpad and I can't say that I am very happy about that.
1. The WIFI is really bad. From my mobile's phone WLAN I have better signal.
2. It has Greek menu... but no Greek Keyboard. (really stupid)
3. I try to update this device but I get error. I also try to download some applications but my device is incompattible.
I am really dissapointed to spend 200 euros. It's really a lot of money in this period for us the Greeks.
If anyone could help me, updating... I would appreciate that.

use update 4e and you will be fine ... can you tell me what the error you got ??

the one i have came with 2 GB for android and 5.99 as 2nd partition
i don't think there is app can repartition the drive but it's works very fine .. am on 4e and work nice except the vpn it's not working with me i don't know why

You have to turn the huawai drivers off if you want to enable a vpn. There is a thread in the main gome flytouch forum about it.

can't find the post. Tried searching for VPN huawai drivers off. Get no matches. Tried turning off huawai drivers same result, I have tried various combinations on the theme. and no match.
