a better keyboard

I installed the app a better keyboard and when activating it got a popup stating that a better keyboard has access to your texts and emails that are typed with it including credit card number (scarry)but my question is even if its installed and i switch over to the droids normal keyboard or use the physical one am i safe then or should i just uninstall it?thanks for any help

The most important thing to look at is whether the app has internet access. Without it, what can it do? (generally, all these keyboards don't, but I use the hardware for all passwords just to be safe).
