A bit of Market Place help please...

A bit of help here if you wouldn't mind chaps. For some reason I can't buy applications from the market place. Downloading free apps isn't a problem but I just can't purchase any, when I put my card details in, then click the buy button, a processing note comes up stating; "saving card details" then after about 15 seconds it says; Attention server error, and it does not process the transaction.

Phone is two weeks old and I've bought it second hand and received it today, gmail account has registered no problem and I'm getting emails through so I don't think it's anything to do with this, but being a total noob to Android I could well be wrong.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction at all???

Configure and set up your banking details on your computer first.

As in through Gmail? If so I tried that, but for some reason or another it keeps asking me to add a valid phone number despite me trying several different ways of inputting it (tried both my land line and mobile number)....

If you live in the UK, remember to replace the preceding 0 with 44. See what happens.

I've figured it out, for what ever reason it doesn't accept the Isle of Man area code (01624) which is a bit daft when you have to select 'UK' because there's no 'Isle of Man' option in the Location menu.

Never mind, just hope they don't ring for confirmation of details, I don't think the UK Hotel who's number I used will have much of an idea.....:D

Cheers for the help anyways mate.
