A Deal I missed out on, maybe...

So I just bought my Captivate 2-3 days ago from a Rogers store, and this is a gift for xmas. I spoke with the rep there and he set up my new contract to start from the 24th, because I still wanted to use my current phone until then, and switch over to my Cappy on xmas. So therefore, I have not even turned on my phone yet.

I am looking at a flyer today, and I see that Future Shop has a promotion for a 100 dollar gift card when you buy any Rogers phone, Captivate included. So, do you think there is any way I can return my phone to Rogers, and then go and pick up my new one at Future Shop?
