Root a factory reset question

I have the Transform Ultra (Rooted) and am using the stock ROM, is it ok for me to do a factory reset from the Privacy menu?

If not, what do I ned to do to reset factory data? I am not wanting to un-root, just simply restore factory settings and keep root.

You wont loose your root privileges. It will just reset your data, and delete your apps and make your phone the way it was when you bought it. Except for it being rooted. Back up anything you don't want to loose and you will be fine.

Side-note. I have a 5$ bet with the GF that the DR will be changing within 3 episodes of the next season. Just a gut feeling.

I did the reset and everything went according to plan, thanks for help!

If you have just rooted your Transform Ultra and have not flashed anything, you can factory reset without worry! You wont even lose root!
