A few important notes i dont see emphasized here...
Especially for us ex iphone users who are newbs.
1) The beta log in portal of the HTC sense control panel is up and running. I logged in tonight and i was able to make my phone ring and track it to my present location. I did not try to secure it or wipe it..(obviously). You can not do a google search and find the darn search but here is the link.
https://www.htcsense.com/en/#dashboard/'
You of course need your info that you used when you created a sense account on start up. If you skipped it you can go back and run start up again from the setup menu.
2) Use Google voice. I saw this briefly mentioned but i wanted to expound. Download the google voice app from the market (you need a gmail address and then create a market account and run market). run it and set it up. Do not bother setting it up to send a message to your text msg or email account..just load the widget right on your main home screen and then you will see a Box telling you A) who sent a message B) a typed transcript of the voice mail and C) if you click it you can listen to the message. (scroll through the messages by clicking right or left).
3) You no longer have to TYPE text messages. Just press and hold the EN key and speak your text and hit send.
These three things (along with setting up the market) would have been TRAGIC to have missed but possibly to have missed coming from an iphone 3GS
