A Few Issues I Have

Ever since I have updated to CyanogenMod, my phone will either take about 20 minutes to send a picture or just not send it at all. I have heard of fixing the APN, but I am unsure as to what this is/how to do it. Has anyone had this problem? I am currently running 7.1 with Handcent as my messaging app. Also I would like to add, my phone has occasional problems receiving text messages. I will be receiving them like normal, then 10-15 minutes later I will receive about 3 all at once with the person asking why I haven't responded yet. This is rather annoying...

My last thing is, my 3G will randomly drop and I will be left with a time out error on either the browser/market. My kernel is 2.6.32.9-cm-stk. If anyone knows a fast low voltage kernel for the original Motorola, I've been looking.

If someone can help me out with this I'd greatly appreciate it!

CM 7 has a setting to keep the home screen app in memory. There is also a setting to keep the messaging app in memory as well - and you may need to specify the handcent app specifically.

B/c of the limited RAM on the DROID, and the robust amount of RAM Gingerbread needs, a lot of apps get kicked to the curb so that the system apps can run as needed (things like phone, contacts, etc.). This is one of the safeguards built into the CM7 ROMs - that you can force the system to keep home and SMS in memory and force it to kill other stuff so those are always working.

I already had Handcent/Messaging App selected to stay in the memory and it still does this...any other possibilities?
