I'm currently running SC 2.9.2 along with an eb01 modem. Although I have come to understand that eb01 currently stands as the preferable modem of choice, I've been having several reception issues over the past few weeks resulting in frequent missed calls (that I never receieved) as well as text messages. I've tried several data/davlik wipes but to no avail.
I've decided that it might be worth a shot to switch back to an older modem, but here lie my questions:
I'm in need of a little brushup in history haha, I know eb01 is the current modem but what are the ones before? DL09, DI01?
What would be the most logical modem to revert to if I had to?
And... exactly what benefits/drawbacks come with reverting back to an old modem? battery life, signal strength?
Oh... and most importantly, where can I get ahold of some of the older modems? I've ran searches here and over at xda but xda search engine is currently experiencing incredible lag so I was stuck.
