Help A Few Questions

1) In the stock messaging app, do you get notifications when a message comes in? For example my brother has a Blackberry , and the messaging icon has a little pop-up number when he has a message displaying the unread messages.

2) Can you send full, 8MP images to other phones? Or does it reduce the size?

3) Same with video, can you send the highest res. video you can take or does it need to reduce?

1.) Yes, the notification bar informs you when there is a text and will even show you the first line or so of text.

2.) It will resize it. I have found it resizes the 8MP pictures too much. A 3MP picture will be larger after the program resizes. Not sure why, but that's how it is.

3.) I think if the file is too large it will simply say so. No go after that. Not 100% as I only sent a video once when I first got it.
