I have a friend with a Commando and I'm hoping to quickly figure out whether or not I can safely try rooting and removing bloat on that phone.
Questions:
1) Is there a fail-safe like an sbf available?
2) Can the most recent OTA/system update be rooted?
3) Is there a 'one click' tool that consistently is able to root/unroot?
I have done a decent amount of rooting, ROMing, modding, and sbfing with my Droid X, so I'm familiar with many of the basics.
EDIT: The answer to question 2 is "no" so there is no need for further responses. This thread can be locked.
