Help A few things that bother me with the infuse

Please tell me if there is a way to remove that annoying batterys full sound that wakes me every damn night, I cant believe that im the only one that doesnt sleep with the phone charging on my nightstand, what idiot came up with this feature? without rooting? unreal!

Im having a brain fart on the other thing but every time you go into a certain thing it turns the notification volume back down every time, really irritating and obviously a glitch

Just power down the phone during the night as you charge it. I recharge its battery every single night and never have to hear that sound you describe. Didn't even know it was there. :)

Its my only phone and I want it on at all times so that wont work for me.

Go into volume settings and turn the "system" volume all the way down.
It won't effect call volume or ring volume or alarms or media.
Or maybe it's "notification" volume.
Play around with those two to see which effect it and what you might miss out on.
I agree though. It's annoying.

I turned the main sounds off but then my messaging sounds are muted too. Ill play with it.

I heard it once, dint bother cuz it don't repeat. Wow u sleep light, I heard it and fell right back asleep lol.

I don't know about you guys, but when I sleep, I don't want to be bothered by phones, beeps, alarm sounds. Unless I'm expecting a very important call in the middle of the night, I totally disconnect my phone.

Ok I just found out the brainfart I had before, ok when you go into contacts and check your data usage thats when the pos turns the notification volume back down, thats bs and Im sure its a glitch right?

Well heres a new thing this phone is doing to make me crazy, tonight I have picked it up a few times to see that the wifi icon is off and the data lights are sucking me dry, wtf? really? then it changes back to wifi after a min and yes im in full range of my router. GRRRR

Right, so?... why is the data on, if your using wifi?. Think of your fon as your house. If your watching tv in one room, why are the lights and water running in the bathroom. Cut that stuff OFF. As for those volume notifications. Idk I pretty much keep everything except media volume on silent no volume. Tjis might not be the phone for you. If I eas a talker I would chose another fon but, I just play games and movies and books on mine, IM & othr multi-media applications.
If u just got the fõn, I would wait a few months to personalice things, also, make surenu have all of the updates as well,

Why does everyone say to mute the phone and turn data off? I want my messages to be heard and my messages use data not he kind they charge for yet anyway. Why have a phone if you cant hear it? No deal!

U could use juice defender¿ which it just toggles between wifi and 3g more efficiently but, I don't really need that app. I have room for more games. Also check the running services under settings/ applications. I always wonder why people buy phones that have a more multimedia purpose, instead of just getting, A PHONE,lol

Well because they make you get these so called smartphones anymore, I like the phone
for the most part, I tried juice defender and it causes other problems lol

I miss the setting on my blackberry where I could turn off all sound except phone calls. No disturbing emails in the middle of the night and if there was an emergency call I would hear it. and thet battery full beep wakes me up sometimes too. I use silent mode now. I hope noone tries to call me in the wee hours

The only problem with my Bold 9000 was that damn LED. Sounds don't bug me, but that thing was BRIGHT! If I got a text at night, the thing was like a strobe. I had to put it face down on my nightstand.

I need my phone at night also.. I'm on call every other week/weekend so I need to hear alarm, ringer.

But I hate the battery full message plus the phone stays on/screen on until I hit side button. I have Screen On Toggler(I hate the screen timing out so fast during the day).

Everyone on this thread is retarted if u cant sleep through a 3 second chirp than u don't deserve to get a good night sleep,AT ALL!!!!

Seriously, so trivial. As far as the data/wifi thing. I turn off my data network mode when I'm using wifi, if I need an mms msg to go thru I turn it on. Problem solved.

It's trivial but I agree with the original poster that this is a stupid design flaw. At the very least they should've included the ability to turn off this "Battery Full" notification.
