A good video player?

Why does the stock player suck so bad? No resume..no fast forwarding or rewinding.
Which is the best video player for the Desire?
Also, is there a player that says the time remaining in the right side of the seek bar instead of the total time? I'm used to watching videos on my iPod touch..

I use MoboPlayer on Desire and I think it is the best one (freeware).

I like qqplayer best, it supports a lot of formats like avi, which the desire cant read

Ive been using rock player lite. Its free and its plays just about every video format. Including avi , mkv and flvs.

I think the players normally show the total video length (B) in the right side.
However on the left side you see the time played (A), so B - A = T (time remaining).
This is a bit different than what you want, but still can serve the purpose.

I second qqplayer.

Definately the best player for battery life, being able to play avi files , tap screen to see battery and time, and slide left/right to quickly fast forward/rewind

I decided to give qqplayer and mobo player a try. I like mobo player the best even better than my previously recommended rock player lite.
