Hello. My name is Shellie and I am an android addict. Oh, sorry. wrong forum. LOL I actually have a beginner's question. I am looking for (either on the forums or on youtube, et cetera) a tutorial that will teach me some of the customizations I can do to my phone/tablet without root. So for example, I just learned that widgets can be re-sized to my needs. I also learned that I can save a picture as my wallpaper from the net randomly. This is stuff that I never would have known if I hadn't just browsed these forums. It's a great way to learn, and I can fiddle with the device some on my own, but it would be neat if there were somewhere that showed me a lot of fun things i can do to my device. Thanks! :D

Welcome and I hope this doesn't come across rude, but have you read the users manual that came with your device?

Also, you can browse the forum for your specific device. :)

Not rude. The user's manual is basic, doesn't really tell you much about the software, but mostly about how to make phone calls, turn it off and on, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions! Off to learn:)

I don't know of any website or YouTube for How-Tos. The only thing I can suggest is to see if your locale book store has anything. Otherwise all you can do is browse the forums.

i also recommend using beautiful widgets as well. they have plenty of themed widgets that you can use.

also go sms pro have tons of themes for your messaging app.
