Root A Little clarification please.

I have looked around for a while and I can't seem to find a step by step to flashing one of the kings kernel's.

I rooted a couple days ago to a stock 2.2 sense rooted. I want to flash the kings kernel 2.6.32.15.

Is it as simple as:
1) adb push it onto the sd card
2)boot into recovery and do a data wipe
3) then install zip from sd card

Of course I would do all of this after backing up my data and apps.

1. Put the kernel on the root of your SD card.
2. Boot into recovery.
3. Wipe cache and dalvik cache.
4. Select "Install zip from SD card" in the main recovery menu.
5. Select the kernel that you want to flash.
6. Once it is done installing, reboot the phone.
