Root A missing file?

I am having the redraw issue again.

I tried the code that tends to work a few days ago and it worked great for a while. But now it has come back. I figured maybe I did something that reversed or toggled back what the code entry did, so I tried entering it again. It now says that the ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1 does not exist. Is that right? Did I do something weird?

Edit: OK, possibly never mind. I just checked using root explorer and the file is there in the local.prop folder. In fact, it is in there twice (since I entered it again). Does that cause any problem, or is that OK?

You should not have any local.prop folder(s). You should have a file in /data called local.prop. I suggest deleting everything local.prop on your phone and then flash this file using your favorite custom recovery image using the method that applies to said custom recovery image:

Thanks for that file! All seems to be OK for now, but if I need to do the fix again, I will follow those steps.
