Hello my new favourite forum
I got a Samsung Galaxy S a week ago, and I must admit that I have been stalking this forum ever since.
This is my first android phone ever, and although I've got almost no clue about how to go around things on it, I'm slowly starting to get a good grip.
As every(I guess
) new proud android phone owner I instantly went looking for a rooting tutorial, but after some research I'm actually glad I didn't rush into doing it. I still will probably do it at some point, which may be tommorow, or next year, but it will definitely be done.
The thing that bothers me the most is that my phone came with the 2.1 version, as I saw everyone rolling with their 2.2, and obviously thought that I'd be getting one too, just to turn out that 2.2 isn't even out for Galaxy S (?), and everyone told me they got a decent performance boost with froyo.
But anyways, I'll be looking around the forums for all kinds of stuff, and just sit tight and wait for an official 2.2 I guess, which hopefully won't be too long from now
