A question about installing apps....

I have noticed that before you install apps it tells you that it can have access to your location, personal contacts, sd card etc. Why is that? lol Is it safe to install these apps?

Just a disclaimer letting you know what that ap is going to have access to. I don't every worry about it, especially aps coming from the marketplace. I would only worry about aps you are installing outside of the marketplace not saying that it's bad just make sure u know what your installing. Marketplace aps have to be approved.
