Help A question about Swype

I am relatively new to the Evo and have heard about a keyboard called Swype. One source told me it was already preinstalled on my Evo and another said I needed to install it. Which is it?? If it is installed I have not found it under Applications. (I tried the Search button but only came up with two very specific questions that did not answer this question.)

Its preinstalled on the phone that came with the latest update: 3.70

Go under menu>language & keyboard and you should see swype.

To enable it, just open up a sms and long press the chat box. then click input method and select swype.

Thank you very much! Got it running already and love it! I am more and more amazed at the "bells and whistles" this Evo has! Wished I had switched over earlier.

Just remember if you want arrows swype from swype symbol to sym right next to it.

If you want a numpad swype from sym to F
