Maybe my question is stupid , sorry for that ... I don't understand much in this, but:

Will "HTC Droid Eris Verizon" work in Israel ( with Orange sim ) ?
Orange provider supports CDMA

If I will plug my local sim card , will it work ?

Asking because I think to buy one on ebay , but not sure it will work in Israel

The Eris does not have a SIM card slot. It will use CDMA only, which doesn't use SIM cards.

Suitable for my needs , from 2.1 OS version 2.2 is better

There is a very recent post over on XDA (today or tommorow, depending on time zone!) from user "tmwtp", who says he is using Orange IL.

tmwtp doesn't come right out and say that he/she has an Eris, but he/she is posting in an Eris forum. You could send a PM to verify that and see if you get a response.
