A quick hello...

[Ste'roid]

Greetings, all...

I recently purchased an Asus Transformer as a replacement for my aging, albeit still wonderful, laptop. The openness of Java coding for Android was a selling point, as was the keyboard dock for the Transformer...

I'm a dabbler...bit of a Java hobbyist, but with this new machine, I think it'll inspire my hobby a bit more...Just need to make enough time in the day to tinker.

App-wise, I'm interested in coding simple tools that I haven't been able to find anywhere else...I think that should help me knock the dust off the old programming skills.

Anyways, glad to see a stable community for Android!

Ste'roid.

Welcome to AndroidForums, Ste'roid!

Lots and lots of great threads and forums around here... I've been around here for a while and only barely scratched the surface myself .

I learn something new every day from the great folks around here.

Cheers!
