A Scratch already...

The webpage says that it is available for preorder. I ordered a kit yesterday and got an email from them last night stating that my order has "partially shipped" ... im not too sure how the hell something can be partially shipped, lol.

Just my .02, I have used Zagg screens, BestSkinsEver, and PhantomSkinz and wholeheartedly prefer the PS skins over all. They are pretty much invisible, no orange peel effect, and are nice and thin you barely know its there.

Really? That's interesting. I have scratches, scuffs and all kinds of knicks all over my Droid. It looks pretty bad since I normally take really good care of my gadgets but the screen doesn't have any signs of harsh treatment at all.

Thankfully I opted to get insurance on the Incredible this time just in case. :D

Yeah, it sucks. I can't feel it though so it's not very deep, I just wanna know how it happened?? Sand in my pocket maybe??
 
Well I hope all of the guys who claimed it will be impossible to scratch or that glass doesnt scratch read this... actually, I'd rather let them think that and wait til they come complaining that it scratched haha

Similar to that time when I got herpes from that chick, but I let all my friends get at her too. I coulda told them, but what fun would that have been?

Honestly though, I see videos of it all the time, and I even had a Storm for a year with no scratches on that screen and the same with my iPod Touch so it was basically proof right there, but then this happens all of a sudden. It's like it was spiting me for getting the phone. You know?

We began shipping Incredible orders yesterday. All orders that said "Partially Shipped" should have been moved to our "Shipped" queue" by now. Partially Shipped is just an internal holding area for pre-orders that we have received. We should be caught up on all orders today! :)

The thing I like about best skins ever is that they stay in place. Clear view skins and case mate shins peel off really easy. My eris case mate skin came off in my pocket. But best skins ever is on my ipod going strong after 3 years.

Well, my Incredible slipped out of my jacket pocket today and now has a little scratch on the lower right corner on the plastic molding. You can feel the roughness but not really see it. I'll be slapping a case on there soon, so not too big of a deal, but I was pissed because I never drop my phone (even after 15 beers).
 
I know it's kinda' wack, but does anyone use a lanyard. I walk a good bit and take the train to work and I'm wondering it a lanyard would be a good thing to have for those times.
 
Does anyone know how the PhantomSkinz matte all body cover compare to the Steinheil. I hear great things about the Steinheil, but PhantomSkinz is ready to ship! By the way, where does PhantomSkinz ship from?
 
Did anyone who received their PhantomSkinz protector get the full body? If so, how is the back part? Does it fit perfectly to the Incredible's contours? Debating whether it's worth the $15 extra bucks. I hate having a case on my phone (like I currently do) if I can avoid it, but don't want to scratch up the back.

perhaps an angled shot would better capture the concavity of the scratch.

What are the chances you can post an actual picture of the protector for the back of the phone? I'd love to see whether it's something I wish to spend a few extra bucks on. I'm definitely ordering at least 2 of the screen protectors (2 of us here have Incredibles).

Every scratch I have ever gotten on any phone I've owned has been for no reason at all. I can't at all put my finger on how they happened. But I've dropped my phone before and not a single blemish resulted from it. Annoying!

I thanked you for this. Because of your post I went out to Best Buy and picked up the invisashield. I feel so much better.
 
I dropped mine about 3 feet onto a tiled concrete surface first day i got it fell on its screen. so scratches dents dings or anything. maybe i just got lucky.
