Root a sticky situation

OK here's the my best shot at explaining things. I have installed candy ROM 5.1. Love the ROM but I'm a ROM jumper lol!!! I went to go into twrp to flash another but funny thing is candy rom popped up. I figures just flash twrp again and I'm golden. Only thing is somehow root was lost so now I'm stuck!!! Any help or advice would be wonderful
 
U flashed a boot img after using a switcher and your twrp was overwritten ( because it was switched to the boot partition) it sounds like. At least your not stuck in a bootloop.

Lol this is true but I fixed it give root permission on the recovery version of it and flashed twrp and wham bam thank you mam its all smooth sailing from here
