Help A stupid question - text notification volume

[Girevik]

What is it that controls the volume of the text message notification? Is that the same as the ringer volume, or is there a separate setting for that?

There's a separate setting for notifications. Open your settings, Sound and display, Ringer volume. You'll have two sliders, one for incoming calls and one for notifications.

Thanks! I was pretty sure I had found that before, but couldn't remember where. I was starting to doubt myself!
